Go with a manual foot shift, S series. I've had a few problems with the ES not working properly and had to break out a wrench to get mine in and out of gear. Also, with an ES you can't drive and hold a beer at the same time.

Had one a few years ago. In my opinion and that of others it is just something else electronic that will mess up. I prefer the ole foot shifter or automatic. Also +1 on not being able to hold a beer. :D

only down side i've had was weak battery = no shifting and gotta use a wrench till the battery charges back up.

other than that, its a great bike, and never been a prob driving and holding a cold one, it only takes 1 finger to shift, manya creek ride been done with a cold one in my hand on that bike

My dad has a Foreman identical to mine but ES he likes it I have used it a few times. Its works fine i think, I had just gone through 2 automatics which were both a headache and decided I wanted the most mechanical based 4 wheeler, instead of relying in belts or electronics. Electronics are my enemy. I also like the drink on the go feature of the S.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

My pops 09 has both the ES and the automatic. Best of both worlds, although I've never seen any trouble with the ES.
