I was told it was a legal thing being worked out between jackson and oxford. There have 0 incidents involving bowhunters and home owners. I think around 20+ deer have been taken not counting what the DNR is shooting at night at Pat Lamar and Avent park under tight restrictions and precautions. So i would presume it Was a citizen complaining to the state in general about the depredation program and not the participants.....................hopefully the city will charge those of us that want to participate a small fee and in turn will be used to support the "Pantry" or other fund needed operations run by the city...WIN-WIN-WIN.......griper have a hard time to gripe when hunters put money where their mouth is
