I've never understood rabid fans like this. I mean what happens to somebody that they get so messed up in the head over a stupid game. Granted, I didn't go to college, so I don't understand the alliegance to your alma mater but jeez, that is ridiculous.

I live in Mobile and due to the nature of my work, attend many Bama games. I absolutely can not stand Alabama for that very reason. And yes that is a typical Bama fan. I have friends and neighbors whose families haven't been north of I-10 for 15 generations but will fight you over the score of a bama game, call in sick on Monday when they lose. Last year some folks (relatives of each other) across the bay got into a running fight over the Bama/Auburn game involving driving to each others houses and ended up with guns drawn and one guy dead. WTF?
