Who uses a recurve to hunt with?

I have a Hoyt gamemaster recurve that i like, but don't hunt with it anymore.

Since it's retirement, i only shoot it for fun. Bought it on Tradgang.com classifieds. You can find some good deals there.

I will holler at him and get them. I just tried and he did not answer the phone, but will try again later

it is 53lbs @ 29". It is 64" long and he can't even remember what model black widow it is
$450. He said it was 4 yrs old.

Hey TS, I apreciate it but I aint payin $450 for a 4 year old used bow. I know they are supposed to be awesome, but thats more than I want to spend in case i dont like it. And I dont want anything over 50 lbs.

I certainly understand. I would want something cheaper to start out with as well
