Uh huh........aiight den.........I'll be sure to tell him what you said......
Curfew is a good one..........he went to sleep so I decided to do the same cuz I knew he would wake up every 2-3 hrs during the night......and he's asleep now, thank you god.
Roux.....kinda catchy.......how about fido....except spell it phideaux...

just like justin wilson said.
I've been calling him deuce, hasn't really responded to it very well, then I started calling him Rowdy.....yep, goosebruce.....and he kinda likes it.
So far he relieved himself 4 times in the house, finally caught him in the act the last time and think I got my point across. I have never seen a dog whizz more than this, just about every 5 min if he's awake. Anytime I let him out to run around the house, I can't trust him. I can take my eyes off of him for a split second and something bad happens. I'm starting to pay more attention to him and starting to get a better feel of when he wants to go potty.

You can house break him by using a kennel or crate as long as it's not too big. Labs are clean dogs and they do not want to mess their bed. Keep him in the crate and every 30 minutes or so, let him out and walk him outside. Let him do his business and he'll learn that when he gets outside, he can relieve himself.

My chocolate is named Hobbs after Roy Hobbs in the movie "The Natural".... The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. But I had a friend that once had a lab named Kudzu....I guess it would creep around 'til it covered every thing up.

I'm using the crate, only time he gets out is when he wakes up and starts whinning. I take him out and he does his business, and comes back in. I've been letting him run around in the house for 10-15 min, and that's when I've been having the problems, after he had used the bathroom outside. Talked to dad earlier, said that the dog wasn't going to stay inside. Hopefully I can get the dog somewhat housebroken before dad gets home saturday.

How about the registered name "Money in the Bank" because that is what he is going to cost you
Of course I'd always say his name came from him being as good as...

Well if I had my choice I would name it Winnie for a girl and Chester for a boy. If you had both sexes their names would be Winnie, Chester, hehehehe my personal preference by the way for gunning those ducks!!!!
I think I would just go with Whizz for yours though!

Steve Martin in the jerk had a dog. And wanted to name him hero, cause he saved everyone from the fire (NOT)... a guy standing there said hey, dont name that dog hero, name him shiithead. Just an ideal.
If I had a choclate dog, I think Id name him Turd. bwhahahahaha.
How bout poop?
Always thought it be cool to name a dog kitty. Here kitty, kitty, kitty.
No choc dog needs to named rowdy. Aw go ahead.. no one will ever confuse the two! hehehehe.
Dogs tend to live up to their names. So be careful about it.
The typical duck names drake, magnum, have been done to death. Git your orginality freak on. GH22's Timber Pimp... call him T.P. When he screws up, you can tell folks it stands for toliet paper.
My next dog is going to be named SHAFT, big, black, and bad. So kickass, he'll have theme music when he walks down the street. travis

Hey guys.New to the site, sorta been reading not posting. How bout the name D.O.G. You have to say it as you were spelling it out with emphasis on the O. When you say it it has sorta cajun flare to it. I had a black lab named D.O.G. (that I had to put down with Cancer after 8yr , he was the best.)When I took him to the vet they asked his name and I said DOG. They asked how do you spell that I said DOG . They then broke into tears . Good luck on the name .

Someone please explain this to me. Earlier today I went to yazoo city and left the pup in the crate alone for some 4 hrs. He had drank a lot water before I left and tried my best to get him to use the bathroom but wouldn't. Somehow the little guy held it till I got back. I let him outside and he whizzed two different times. I left him outside for about 15 min and then let him back in. Within 5 min of him being back inside he whizzes all over the kitchen floor, now this I don't understand. He had all the time in the world to do it outside, and didn't....and he didn't drink any water while he was outside for that time period either.

Should have got a female. They are easier to house train.
Mine was almost named Delta. If I ever get another one thats what it will be.

GH22, thats a pup for ya, especially a male. Males hold some of thier piss for marking, communication, etc. At three mounths he is just beginning to learn how much fun it is. You can forget logic when it comes to him for a good while.
I named my dog Bryant's Boy Beaucephus, Beau for short. Not real original, but easy to call him with. I may name my next dog Hank. Catchy, short, not too many around.
His momma's name is Bryant's Delta Dream, Delta for short. Suits her just fine.
My last dog names was "Jacques" (pronounced "Zhock", kinda) That one was fun to listen to other people try to pronounce, much less spell.
Don't let GB (or anyone else for that matter) get to you about the "choc vs black vs yellow" thing. I don't care what ANYONE says, I have seen good and bad of all three colors. Don't give me that crap about number of black champions, what do you think the ratio is that are entered? Far more black entered, I would wager. (I do like that Shaft thing, though).
Besides, EVERYBODY knows a chocolate will flair less ducks because they are better camo-ed
