What kind of owl?

and this is the area they were found in - when I first found them a few weeks ago, the green foliage wasn't present.

what if, say hypothetically you found a young weak owl in your yard that didn't have it's flight feathers yet. And then maybe put it in an old chicken coup that was open at the top. Then you fed it chopped up birds and mice while it's health improved and grew flight feathers. Would this bird eventually fly off on it's own? I'm guessing that would be instinct right. And do owls drink water? or do they get it from their food?

asking for "a friend", right.... :lol: hypothetically, of course, you may have a new local owl, probably a fat one eventually from all the critters in the orchards
