Why don't you just buy a Paddle? It worked for years. If it ain't broke, Don't fix it.

really.... and H20fowlkiller...where I hunt (woods) a modded engine would be the only option...a dual rig with 500+ pounds of motor on the back wouldn't work at all.....then again my 31HP longtail has been doin' just fine.....
I was just simply saying instead of pouring thousands of dollars into a putting mods on a 35 or 36 why not run dual 25's on the back and bring some pirougues or canoes, I guess it all just depends on how far down river your running and which river your running, ive just always been taught its better and safer to have to large of a boat (turns some pirogues or canoes loose when the big boat doesnt work anymore) than be stuck on the river with too small of a boat

We should get a mud motor/airboat ride/party/races etc. lined up sometime this summer like they do down in Florida. Would be pretty cool to see all the rigs and drink some cold lemonade (and by lemonade I mean a couple beers) and cook some food.

Ive had them all surface drive, longtail, and outboard. It all depends on your situation, but I will say for strictly a hunting rig a surface drive cant be beat. I just sold my surface drive rig cause I dont hunt timber where I cant wade or use a canoe anymore and I needed a boat big enough to do some crappie tourny's with.

Personally I would not mind coming down to the marsh to play if it involves some beersa. I love it down there and so does the airboat. I swear it runs better down there in coonasscountry! If the majority of folks are in the delta/jackson area probably get a better turn out in the delta somewhere though. Something to ponder on fo sho.

Gordan, I'm running a Excel 18x54 with a HD6000, it's perfect for what i'm doing running long distance, plus with the 54" excel you can also layout hunt, not as good as the Gator Hide, but it works.
I'm glad you are happy with the Go-devil rig.
PM me your # I'd like to talk!
