I have been guiding hunters since Nov1 in Mo and down here in MS. I have hunted almost every day for 60 plus days. Guys who know me, know I am RUFF on equipment and by now I am already on my second pair of waders. I have a set of MST's and have had no problems with leaks or tears. I know Drake will stand behind thier products keep calling.

I just sent my drake waders back to rogers, they would hardly go over my hips it was like they were too short. I have just about everything drake makes and love them but I am not sure about their waders.

I know they will make an athlete out of you if you have to walk very far. As far as just some wading there pretty nice. I had to pull the lacrosse back out for the long hauls. You can take any pair you want and find someone that has a problem with them leaking. Just like people on here say their gun is the best cause it never jams and it doubles as a paddle. Things gone happen if you hunt hard enough guns gone jam, waders gone leak, and dogs gone break.

I have a fair amount of stuff from drake and have been very pleased with everything with only one exception. I really am not an avery fan and needed a new dog vest last year so gave the new drake vest a try. I fit it to my dog and took him out for the first hunt in it. By the time we got back to camp it had all but fallen apart. And this was just in a flooded corn field. The plastic front had about 5 holes in it and was pealing off. I called drake on 4 different occasions and talked to two different people. Each time they said they would have someone else call me back and I never heard anything. I was not trying to even get a new vest, but rather to just give them some feedback on the product, but no one really seemed to care too much. To say the least I was pretty disapointed in there customer service.

I just returned my pair to Vans. Leaked where the boot met the neoprene upper after two hunts. Also, I agree they are not very easy to walk in . . . didn't seem to have enough bend in the knees . . . which may have ultimately caused the leak due to being stretched out. I like the pockets and handwarmer but I think I'll wait until the second generation comes out before getting another pair. Now I just have to find a pair of waders somewhere -- every store in Jackson is apparently sold out of size 12 neoprene waders

I think that you may be right on what caused the leak. Mine were not real easy to walk in either. I did like that hand warmer and those pockets though.

i bought a pair only wore them once, the shoulder spraps are worthless worst design I've ever seen. Takes to much to get out of them. I drink to much coffee!!! They are going to change for next season. The waders are made in China!!!!!
They do have alot of other great features that are needed on a pair of waders. Should be great when they get the kinks worked out.

Have not tried the Drakes and wont. I have one pair of Lacrosse(love um) that I have hunted for 4 seasons and I treat them like crap. I am as hard on equipment as anyone and have not had any problems with mine. I mainly hunt flooded timber, but do hunt feilds and big water as well. I will only buy Lacrosse from here on out. Just my 2 cents

A buddy of mine insisted on me trying them on one day to see if they fit me. He's stumpy, I'm tall and thin. They were really nice, but I couldn't walk around the damn bench in them, much less through a field. He said that's why he didn't buy them. I think its that cordura material that won't let the knee bend well. I'm probably gonna need some new ones year, and maybe they will improve on the design a little. I do like the pockets! Can't ever have to many pockets.

Sonya at Rogers Sporting Goods was very helpful. She does not have my size in stock anymore but she expects them in by June. She is going to send me a new pair when she gets next years model in. Overall good experience dealing with Rogers. Will definately be a repeat buyer from them.

I have put mine through hell , with NO LEAKS ,,,,and the best part is i have NOT punched a hole below the knee . I have a Chevy Z71 as does many on here , BUT i have to say without a doubt this truck is my 3rd Z71 ,,,and this one is a piece of crap ,,,compared to the other 2 ,,,,at least once a month something screws up . But im not going to say all Z71's are a piece of crap , my other 2 were great .

mine leak around the top of the boot area and also around the crotch area, very dissappointing to say the least, however rogers will take them back. i have worn mine about 10-15 times.

what sucks for me is I have been bragging about my drake waders all year and the other day they started to leak in the crouch. I have worn them on about 50 hunts this year but they shouldn't be leaking for only having them a year.
