Sounds like you boys are bout ready to set up a meeting... I'd hit bobby up for all the names of people that where associated with mossy oak hrc, the people who have had intrest in that club reforming as well. No reason ya'll can't pull people from that far... and if it ever gets big nuff, that bunch could stoke the fires of MO back up. Several in that area wanted to get involved, but that was on the final stroke. I know randy and his wife (antidid) we're in that bunch, and I bet they know more... the doors slammed as they we're sticking their head inside to look around.

Definelty need some contact info for the new west ms hrc for glen to have at du show.

Definetly need some contact info for past officers, whathave ya, to see if 1) west ms hrc has any assetts 2) west ms hrc has any debts. Might be better to start over with a new club charter if #2 is the case... if not, then not having to file a charter and all that $#!+ would be a big plus.

Definetly need one or more of ya'll to come to national meeting in memphis in june.. fri judges and handlers seminar followed by hospilatity, sat national meeting. you'd get more out of fri than sat... Plus can meet claudine, steve v from ukc, bobby williams your region rep, and several other people you'll be calling and asking stuff from. Always helps to have met those people in person. travis

Just as info, some people from Natchez interested in starting back up the West Mississippi HRC had been in touch with Dr. Weeks here in Vicksburg. He used to be the president and his wife was the secretary, but Dr. Weeks is now working at the national level. They had stepped down a couple of years ago as it was getting too much work for them. Anyway, looks like we may have Jackson, Vicksburg and Natchez all involved with this thing. Mrs. Weeks is going to have Dr. Weeks give me a call tonight to discuss this a bit more.

If Gator can get this going maybe the West Mississippi HRC can have a booth at Mississippi Outdoor Festival in Jackson sometime in August. Just a thought.

welp, let's see if i can answer all this in one mail...been away from the puter a bit...as an aside, i saw goosebruce, chance, and dukdawgn up at ole hatchie...and yes, travis is as ugly as chance and dukdawgn have said  hehehe...BUT, he has as good a dawg as he has said...aight, let me see...duckmen, i am definitly up for the planning and i've been running it through my head quite a bit lately...there's a husband/wife team outta hazelhurst that is busting at the seams to get this thing going...if we had a training day it is quite possible they would let us use their place...they got a great place...if that's not the route to take (and travis, you glen and josh would know better than me since ya'll started one before), i can call a restaurant around here and get use of there meeting room for an initial meeting...as far as mossy oak, anat, if'n you would, pass me some info via pm as to the folks ya'll had there...i never have figured out where you're from, but we would love to have you and your wife down here...w/ no doors to be slammed...the debts and assets part, i'll have to look into w/ mr. bobby and dr. weeks...i assumed they don't have any debts since mr. bobby was the one that suggested starting up west ms again to avoid a new charter formation and a prelim hunt...i'll email him as soon as i get through on here...i'm planning on going to the national meeting, so that shouldn't be a problem...anyone else want to go or can, let me know as it'd be easier on the pocket-book...glen, you are welcome to use me as a contact and i'll pm you my info...not being presumptous, i just want glen to have something...anyone else feel free...don't know about past officers w/ west ms...drakeshead, that's your gig tonight...find that out for me from dr. weeks and pm me the stuff if'n ya don't mind....whew, if i missed anything let me know...gator

also, i think an initial meeting would be the best route at first, since i think there's some "business" stuff to work out...i would like to know the best times and days for everyone during the week or on the weekend that we could do this...i realize that's it's gonna be ni-on impossible to get everyone together at once for this since most have kids, work, etc, but we need a time and date that most can come...those that can't make it, i'll make known what went on either w/ an email, phone call, or a mailed report...the one thing that needs to occur, as best i can tell, is for everyone to be on the same page...not just ole so-and-so or "the crowd"...anyway, here starts the planning stages...and i'm going to train...gator

I will do my best. Isn't the National's from Thursday, June 5th, through Sunday, June 8th? Memphis is not far from my home town of Tupelo.

Just throw out some dates and times. I am the only one that works, letting the wife get her degree, and she can normally keep the kids. How many people are we looking at right now? Just wondering as you would have to find a place for atleast 50% to show up. As most would like to have it at a Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings, those places might be too distracting.

Hi Mudbug,

Thanks for jumping in this thing. I am sure Gator will not mind you getting involved. He probably has more free time, as he is a student, but from what I can tell, the more people that can help, the better the club. I am relatively new to all this HRC stuff and just winging it. Just until two years ago I had never set foot into waders or duck hunted, but now it is like an addiction. I am one of those guys that most of the people on here make fun of. I buy the best waders and duck calls, look like a geek and do not have a clue about duck hunting, but I make an effort.

Mudbug,

Just sent you a PM back.

It is now 9:30pm. I have not heard from Dr. Weeks, but his wife told me she wasn't sure what all he had planned for the night. Going off to watch "Mageto" or however you spell it.
