I like to either use a dc or a timbre and kinda chatter slow but don't say ticka...go ootatata itatata then a whiney quack then more chatter and if they are not in yet then give em a meaner faster set of quacks after the chatter...

it all boils down to once you have called the ducks to your area they are either coming in or they are not...the calling to me is to get their attention to come to your area then if they want in they'll circle on in but if not try to make them takea second look...
