Listen I ain't never been to mathews brake, probly will never go there. Do I understand why your pissed off, yes. Was this thread started as a joke, yes. Everybody that has replied to the thread knew it was a joke. You act like THE brake is a big secret, its not. Calm down a drink a drink, nobody is gonna steal "YOUR" hole. But please come hunt st.catherine creek it's full of ducks.lol

See thats the thing, I know it was started as a joke, but it has the same result as an authentic topwater post.

No there is no secret, but it can get worse, for the last 20 years I have seen the place go from a place you could enjoy and take your kids over to kill a duck to a place that you have to be worries out who was going to either run over you on the way to you spot or set up 75 yards from you.What I am most afraid of is if things get worse it may be completly regulated."DRAW" this would essentially ake it away from all of us on a reular basis. More attention means more jacklegs means more trouble means more regulation.

This is why I hate these posts.

There will not be any change soon to any Federal Refuges due to the pending litigation by the Defenders of Wildlife against the Fedreral Govt. They are trying to ban all hunting of federal lands. The Govt. has lost the first two rounds and it is likely to end up in the Supreme Court. Keep bitching about other hunters while people like these are very well orginized and very well funded are trying to take it away for good. You think everyday we go out on the brake we bitch and complain because someone set up on our line. When will the 75 yard rule apply to us? No we bring our kids and we enjoy the morning wether we kill ducks or not. We laugh and joke and are glad we dont live in Afganistan, cause they cant do this there! Just take a look at the defenders website, its really quite eye opening! There will always be a crowd at Mathews Brake, its a famous duck hole, people enjoy going there.

Also Im not sure Hoe Handle is not some little old lady sitting behind a laptop with a bottle of good Scotch, laughing her ass of everytime she gets someone on this forum fired up! Its actually quite funny!

We have to make do with what we can. If people want to hunt there more power to them but it there is absolutely no positive outcome talking about that place on the internet.

Mr. Adams you obviously have a big problem. You can call names and say whatever you like it really does not bother me. My post was about the fact that there will be no draw at Mathews Brake or shell limit or anything else, becuse of this liitgation. I simply posted about the fact that there are much bigger problems out there, such as people trying to take away what we all love to do.

And no Im not hoe handle nor do I give a rats ass who that person is.
