The only reason I'm picking on him about the 3 hours in a semester is because I'm jealous. If I had that much time on my hands during my last semester at State, I wouldn't have been worth shooting. Instead I had 19 hours and worked 30 hours a week. My wife had our first child during that last semester and I had a little pressure put on me to graduate.

Hey crow your boy made the Right decision and is actually a Dawg that can get a little respect!! where you went wrong I don't know. Go UGA!!! UGA is actually one team in the SEC I don't really mind and Athens,GA aint to shabby either. oh yeah go Rebels.

I took 6 hrs........thank ya very much..........

How's this..........getting ready for graduation last dec, get all my stuff ready for that saturday, friday comes, get a phone call from business office, say that I have one more class to make that I didn't even freakin' know about. I hate my advisor...

Should've had a 3.5 this semester, but one of my professor changed his grading scale from what was on the syllabus and I ended up with an 88, should've had a 94, wouldn't bump me up, got a B in the other class so I'm out of here.

Job hunt isn't doing so well, everyone I call says I'll be put on the waiting lists, but that chit ain't helping me right now...

WF, that pay hunt is a good idea, but since I'm a official member of the club now, all that money would go into the club account, wouldn't see a dime of it. Rut roh...........that reminds me........I got $1,000 club dues that have to be paid by July 1st........oh chit....... :(

Dang boy, you ought to know that you can't go straight to CEO status right off the bat. You got to be setting your standards to high.

How does it feel to have to read only when you want to now? Thats the biggest relief I got when I graduated.

I'm not trying to become a CEO right out of college, hell I'm just looking for an entry-level business or mgmt position, and I'm not having any luck. My gpa is 2.5, I know some people that have over a 3.5 in my field and aren't having any luck either, so i dunno what the hell to do. I know one thing, I do not want to end up working in south louisiana with dad.

Hate to break it to ya, it's who you know, not that gpa. (not in all cases, but it sure helps.)

You mean employers give folks with no experience a 'position'. I'd think they'd start'em off with a 'job', first........then see if they got the right tools and skills for a 'position'.

'position'......'job'.........same thing.........

I know what you mean about the job hunt...not much happening for me either. :( Decided to head up that way for grad. school in the fall. You really should consider it. congrats on the graduation....saturday I'll be walking across the stage here at Millsaps and into law school and more debt. ready to go, but hate to leave at the same time. i guess i'll always have the memories of trying to explain why "new ducks" were more important than history or political science to my professors.
