FOR THE RECORD!

I do not work at the Outfitter, never have, don't know that I ever will unless I get booted from my present job and I don't see that happening anytime soon (I hope).

I'm in law enforcement and intend to stay that way until I retire or get shot buy some crackhead and I hope I don't let that happen!

I cannot speak for the other posters, just myself. I've been posting on this site since 2001 just was unable to retrieve my password due to ISP problems. Sorry to rial up you natives up a little. I didn't start posting to help the Outfitter. I started posting again because I had time.

banded74, the item originally returned was a Christmas present purchased by the girlfriend. I'm sure you can understand how they try to get you exactly what you want, but you've already got one, etc. The present was returned still in its plastic wrapping. It had not been used. I could understand if it had been used, and them not taking it back. Or even if the plastic wrapping paper had been removed. My girlfriend would not have made the purchase in the first place if she had been aware of the return policy. Reason being: she knows when she is shopping for hunting gear for me that I could already have it, and the item will probably have to be returned for something different. I do appreciate her trying though. Don't take my statement personally, but I just think people should be made aware of The Outfitters return policy. If they ever change this policy please post it here. I wish the store well.

To clear the record, I don't work down at the Outfitters.

Insider: I was just making a thought... If they didn't work with you, it would be a surprize.. Personally I don't see store credit an issue.. Way I look at it there is always something I can use for hunting... Gonna spend it the same if its store credit or cash back...

I was just throwing out my thoughts...

If anybody wants to consider this free advertisement when hunters are telling other hunters about a store they feel is a "quality" hunting store, then so be it..
