There are two separate issues here; (1) trademark infringement & (2) illegal political activity by a 501(c)(3). Either one of these are taken VERY seriously by DU.

We got a BIG e-mail here in Oklahoma concerning the implications of appearing to support the LOCAL candidates, some of whom are on our committees.

The bottom line is that DU cannot support any candidate in any race anywhere.

This is just as true for your city Council seat as for President; and it doesn't matter WHICH candidate it is; whether it's our (duckhunter's) best friend or worst enemy or anything in between.

Trademark infringement is another matter where DU has had to shut down sales of un-permitted items. People are NOT allowed to use ANY trademark for gain without consent.


By all means, inform Billie Ray with as many details as possible. We need this stopped. Now.

Get one of the bumper stickers. Find out the guy's name and where he works. With that information, something can do done about it.

shouldnt his new stickers read "Duck Hunter for Obama".......cause im pretty sure he might be the only one......Does he realize how hard it will be to snare ducks....after Obama either A. just beat the crap out of him the day before the election so he can't vote. I am not worried about DU, i am worried about that smuck getting to the polls.

Just get his name and find out his polling location and go early that morning and vote McCain using his name.
