Couldn't have said it better myself. You can't show up at a place like muscadine and not know anything about the place and expect to find a billboard with the number one on it next to your pond. If you had the field down next to my slough on the West border of the place, boy did you ever screw yourself, that's all I got to say!!!
I will however say, they could put some small signs by the road to let you know what sections are around the entrances, it would help a bit, but it is really easy to find your way the day before you hunt FOR SURE!!

Well the whole thing is not mine, only the cypress brake actually. The end piece down there that you are probably referring to is WRP land that DU set up and the guy who owns it hunts.

3 of us killed a limit in #1 this AM....plenty of birds....and snakes, and skeeters (that roar like lions)! Better hope your birds fold and fall over the dekes, otherwise you'll be in for some real fun!
You might have to get a little creative if you want to be successful in #1 because the birds WANT to be in the hole right next to it. Every now and then a few of them didn't mind getting down in #1, but the big flocks wanted to go where the live birds and native/natural grasses were. Also, the water's a little deeper than I originally expected. No reason not to have a limit by 8:30 though.
The biggest challenge we had was trying to figure out how to keep the naggers out of our $#!+ at the hotel. We made the mistake of staying in Greenville, and woke up with no ice chest. They also busted into my buddies tool box and took everything he had. Must be some thirsty naggers if they stole an ice chest full of bottled water!

All teal ponds have water. Our crew of 3 shot out this morning on unit #4. The kids on unit #1 got plenty of shooting but couldnt find half the birds they downed. A dog would be a big help. The teal flew low and slow... and, responded to calls and decoys well. Y'all have a nice day

The wrp land to which you refer aint nothing but a gar hole full of coots.
