What a Quail Hunt

yea i say open up the season on those hawks. i see 5 or 6 in every grass field that i hunt in up here. no wonder the birds went away. if the fireants and turkeys aren't chasin em around then the hawks swoop down and catchem the easy way.

Hillhunter, your grandad used to have quite a few good coveys in that big bottom. Jack, Ed, my dad, and myself hunted it a few times. You ought to try and talk EJ into the WRP program. That bottom on cane creek road would be perfect.

i havent's seen a covey on that place in at least a year and i'm around there almost every weekend. As for the WRP good luck, he's got one guy farming the north half and the other he keeps in hay now.
