what if you live alone and your nearest neighbor is 10 miles away and you want to have a meth lab in your house? not going to hurt anyone but you, right.... what if you want to grow weed in your house just to smoke? not gonna hurt anyone but you. we live in a society of laws for the greater good of the people. I bet there are some people that have been saved by a seat belt that would not have worn it there was not a law.

I agree with all of it...the law, the tickets and the fact that they are both stupid....as an firefighter/emt i never had to cut a dead person out of a seatbelt...she should have had it on...the cop should have explained to her the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt.

Seymore - is this the same boyfriend you wanted to take to the woodshed a couple of months ago? Are you sure you believe this story?

Evidently, you didn't read the post. She was the passenger and her boyfriend is the one who got the ticket. She should have had her seat belt on, but, I hate that he is the one who got the ticket. I am paying the $25.00 for him. The Po Po could have made a better impression by eating her out instead of giving him the ticket.

Thank you for your contribution.

Band smoking, that would save lives too. (But no more tax revenue)

So would taking all of the hand guns - it would save lives.

Drinking and driving kills people, but they sell beer COLD at every quick stop. WHY ?? (tax revenue)

The government makes us put money away for retirement, because we are too stupid to do so ourselves.( social security)

How much control are you willing to give up, being MANDATED by the government to do it, because it is good for you. And its like taxes. If you ever give it up, the government never gives those freedoms back to you. I understand that some things are good, and make sense.... but the government making me do it? I've got a problem with that ...
