Ok then with me living close to hwy 43 and the pearl river, I now know I was'nt seeing things when I saw one soaring above my property a couple of weeks ago. I said to myself that it looked like a bald eagle but wasnt sure if they were spotted this far over in the state. Glad to know that we have a few around the house. :D

I have 1 mature and 1 juvenile bald eagle on my land. Me rebelyelp and marshrat saw them back during duck season and olemissduckhunter saw them a couple weeks ago after the turkey hunt from hell. Probably one of the coolest things i've seen on my land!

Do the females have white heads? If so, I saw three today. Two with white heads, one that is solid brown. All close to the same nest.

Both adults have white heads and tails, but they don't turn this color until they are 4-5 years old.

Immature eagles will be brown/mottled all over, gradually changing to the white head/tail.

Ahhh...that's where they're staying. Saw one on Broad Lake in late winter and got a report of one on Callio back in December. I heard there was a nest down around Ditchilow and the Box Woods, but haven't seen it.

Can you show me where this nest is, Warren?
