I went without a tv for three years, (until son 4 at time , girlfriend now wife, gave me a lot of hell to get one) I would watch tv while offshore but once i hit the beach I didnt need one...I gave into the pressure when the little one asked me why my exwife had a tv and cable and I didnt....got tv the next time in.....I still know I could make it without tv, but its a necessity for some im my home...so we got it...really dont care either way...that being said I wouldnt give up my music though!!!!

there should be a packet where you just purchase the 6 or 7 channels that you actually watch instead of paying bet, mtv, the soap opera channel and the rest of that filth i don't want on at my house. I guess there maybe a package like that somewhere but not here in this ghetto.
I could cut it off but I would miss outdoor channel, sports, and my 5yo would be pretty mad about no Hannah montana or suite life.
