Yeah we're covered up too. Can anybody make me a fake ID saying I'm 15?

Trust me, if they let us hunt until the middle of Feb. Y'all would just shift your complaints to not getting to hunt until the end of Feb.

Forever, the #1 complaint by MS hunters was the fact that we didn't get to hunt through the end of January. Our season used to end somewhere near the middle of January and everyone complained that we were getting shafted.

25 years ago, the belief was that the last two weeks in January were the most prime two weeks of the whole season. Ever since they let us start hunting into those last two weeks, those magical prime two weeks of the season continue to evade many. Do you really think anything would be any different if you got to hunt right now?

Go take some kids this weekend and show us. Go find some 12 to 14 year olds who can shoot, and post up some pictures.

The last two weeks seemed to be the best for most!

We killed almost double the ducks in the last 3 weeks than the rest of the season. Plus we had fewer hunters.

I wouldn't doubt that. I know I doubled my production the last week of the season for sure. The very end of the month was the first time during the whole season when we finally had a full week of decent duck hunting weather throughout the whole flyway, where it's most critical.

I just think it's funny that it's the same old argument, just shifted out two weeks. Personally, I've always felt that during the last two weeks in January, it's either going to freeze up, or warm up.
