feather can you be a bit moe specific about the the dials
do I need tools, where exactly are they located?

the adjustment dials aka screw should be located on the back of the motor housing....look for where the power cord enters the rear of the motor housing.

In the jacktown area call the "garage door dr." He did some work for me at a very good price and he does quality work. He is in the phone book.

Mine are on the back, my friend's are on the side. They can be turned w/ fingers or screwdriver. I haven't looked at mine yet...when I do and adjust them I'll report.
