Thanks Cwrinkler and Greenhead for the advise/support. I'll hunt with ya'll any day....now for the others who were so quick to judge and hang me for asking an innocent question.....Let's get this straight because I'm kind of like'n this site and may stay on it for while....
Unless you can carve your own decoys out of cork, turn your own hand made duck calls, train your own lab to compete in AKC HUnt Tests, blow the damn stopper out of any call in any meat or competiton calling contests, own a Citori Phil Roberterson would bluss at the condition, and lastly have hunted for the last 30 years, Panther,Hillside,Malmasion, Scatters,Bayou Meto,AR,Mississippi River from Tunica to Greenville, and dozens of private farms from Sledge to Vicksburg.............Your not chit to me but another drunk at a DU banquet in Somewhere, MS with bad breath flirting with the cheesy raffles girls with damn duck stickers all over your truck..........and another thing. I'm not from Oxford. I from Sunflower Co...the damn Delta...I'm just staying in Oxford.........and another another thing...there is a lot of good duck hunters from NE Mississippi.....there the ones who usually lease/own the good private land..............remember the name......Swamprooter

Okay so what do i get for making it that far.... sorry...I don't abuse my guns, and this is the first year I've spent hunting Miss. as my primary state (prior to that it was AR)...and I don' t blow in competitions....
as for Panther...have fun... I'll be hunting somewhere else...but, it wouldn't be worth the drive from Oxford IMO until the conditions get right....
oh, and swamprooter...it ain't you in particular that folks are worried about, it is the other thousands of lurkers that see folks talking about a spot and then flock to it because they hear the ducks are there....
sit down, fix an Ole Charter and stay a while....

You nailed me GordonG!...i like a little Ole Charter on my breath sometimes.and i never hunt Panther until conditions are right and a weekday...and driving from Nola it's only 45 minutes...and 20 years ago i lost my best hole in Panther to friend of a friend who said he didn't duck hunt much when I waded him in from the middle road...didn't intend to abuse my o/u...just been staring down same vented rib for 23 years.
Ted10...stop by.. I'm highway 7 trash...the home with the Prodrive mud boat, kayat and 14' pennoo in the side yard and decoys strung about.
For the record, I just asking since no 4 wheelers, what is the hunting like? I have 20+ UTM coordinates of "holes" in there and I'll pick up the phone in a heart beat and call Mr. Sloan or who ever and ask about water levels. How many of ya'll remenber when there were just 3 wheelers ruts?!!!
