Nothing special but the price. Its rediculous to pay that much for a box of shells

Must've been those yahoo's that set up about 100 yards next to me the other morning. Couldn't stand the fact the birds wanted to be in our hole rather than theirs

i think its great ammo, it knocks them down dead for me, every duck ive hit its killed them dead and cause alot of damage to the bird. i think you just had a glancing shot on that bird blackhawk,if you shotting them in the butt than your not following through with your shot, its better to miss ahead than behind cause atleast your know your following through.

i have several boys that purchase flats of the new black cloud and the report is over 70% of birds shot are stone dead when they hit the water.

Black Cloud...not any better than Kent Fast steel, but twice as expensive.

Expensive?

Postby mixeffects » Wed Dec 12, 2007 9:15 pm

I didn't think that black cloud was any more expensive than other steel shot? heck i thought it was cheap junk with a flashy box. I still shoot my preferred load of estate ammo. that stuff shoots like a dream and I won't switch as long as I can find it. I did purchase a box of the black cloud for early goose season but only went once and never fired a shot. I personally have no idea if it's worth a flip.
