I made this last weekend. I didn't have the hoover sauce, so I used a honey teryaki (SP?) sauce, and followed everything else the same. I overcooked it just a touch to medium well (cooked all the way thru), but it was still amazing. Can't wait to do it again and to not overcook it!
ordered a gallon

You can also get Hoover sauce in the jars at Hines Grocery on hwy 149 about 5 miles due west of Yazoo City. They were out the other day, but were getting some more in. Chit ain't cheap either. It was like 9 bucks for a 2 quart jar? Not sure of the exact amount.

You can also get "Hoover Sauce" at a place called Jimmy's Meat Market on Hwy 51 close to the Ridgeland Library. Although you must get it straight from the store in Louise at least once just to know the history of it.

yes, he accepts cc over the phone & won't charge it until it is shipped.
a lil cheaper than getting it anywhere else but Louise, too - cuts out the middle man!
