Pretty good opening weekend. Opening morning five ducks mallards and teal, Saturday 4 man limit by 7:15 and Sunday four man limit by 8:00 mainly gads.

Didn't kill many, but saw way more mallards than I expected to...

That is unbelievable! you must have either been hunting a minnow pond or someones swimming pools because I didn't know there was anywhere in Lauderdale of the surronding counties with enough water in one spot to hold that many ducks!
Congrats on the good luck though. We didn't kill that many but we did work quite a few and I am still kicking my self in the tail for not taking a shot at the about 25 group of mallards that all but landed about 10 feet from me. They worked perfect, and I didn't shoot because no one else I thought had a shot. Stupid me!!!

terrible when it comes to numbers... very few ducks but you can't beat that first morning of the regular season in a duck blind

we hunted in a bayou around Drew; it stunk to high heaven. ran a couple of thousand gads /widgeon off of the water early, but they never came back.
did anyone hunting in the area see any greenheads?
