a deer is either 3 or he is 4! i don't know where ya'll get this 3.5 to 4.5.when someone asks you how old u are u won't tell them im 20.5 or 21.5 ur either 20 or 21..

Deer are born in the Spring.. So From Spring to now is about 8 Months or exactly 3/4 year.. So all deer are technically 3 3/4 or 4 3/4 now.
In addition people are born in all months of the year. So we typically don't refer to them in terms of half or three quarter years. At least not past the age of about 4 and 3/4 years.

unless the does are bred late and they are not born until the end of june or so and they would technically be .5, 1.5, etc.

Bad news on this one guys. He was killed by a car last night. Just went and looked at him. The deer was probably 3.5 but the pictures didn't do him justice to the mass he had. He will score over 140 without a problem. I will try to post pics of him later.

I think the guy who picked him up on the side of the road is going to give them to me. I showed him all the trail cam pics and so he knew I was hunting him. I am going in a few to find out and if he doesn't let me have them I am going to score him anyway.[/quote]
