I killed a couple does. Got to break in the kids .243 on the first one. Neck shot the 2nd one with the .308 at 17 yards in the rain Sunday evening. Passed a spike so my daughter could hopefully see it and get a shot at it...plus it ain't legal for me to "knowingly" shoot a spike...and he got within 5 yards of me...so I knew what he was.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
