el cheapo savage 270, and a remington 742 jammaster .308. sometimes i will take my three o three o magnum (30-30)

was shooting an abolt .270 wsm but had to trade it becase it was too damn expensive to shoot....now shooting a TIKKA T3 .308...

I bought a Remington youth model 7mm08. It's compact, lightweight, and will fit between the seats with room to spare. It's also cheap! I put 3x9x40 Nikon, small harris bipod and a sling.That's all you need. No need for a big caliber if that nikon is zeroed in.

I have two other buddys that got them as well, and we are shooting dime patterns at 750yds. we are shooting out to a 1000yds, but patterns aren't as tight.

got a Rem. 700 .270, and Ol' fauthful a savage .270 that I been huntin with since my Daddy gave it to when I was 13. Bought the Rem. after I refinished the Savage, hunted with it twice, and went back to the Savage.
