It won't ever happen for all of the reasons you have already listed PML. USM would lose money as well, by playing at State and Ole Miss with no return visit the only schools that benefit financially are State and Ole Miss. The only reason USM played Alabama and Nebraska for example is because they were paid to. Are State and Ole Miss gonna pay an in-state DI school to play them? Wouldn't make much sense to me, if their reason for not playing at Southern is the loss of gate revenue. And while recruiting wars may not be an issue right now, let Southern accidentally beat Ole Miss or State a couple of times and see if it doesn't have an effect.

Your statement is true. It's just when the Southern Miss fans start talking about how C-USA can regularly compete with SEC that my eyes usually start rolling... I guess I should note that I am an armchair quarterback and couldn't have played in either level so nothing against the players

keep in mind that i live in the metro area and a game like this would be very convenient for myself and my family..
however,, those kocksmokers that run the stadium are complete idiots.. i'm talkin about the damn worst case of management i've ever seen.. worse than world-com...
what am i talking bout.. how many of you all went to the saints/colts game back in sept 06..... i swore to myslef that i'd never step foot back in that stadium.. it was that bad.. it was so bad that if you said.. bigwater all you got do is go to stadium and jenna jamison (popular porn star) will be there to give you a world class blow job.. i'd pass... thats how bad that place pissed me off.. it looked like something outta a third world country that night..
