I think he makes it, and he's gonna be hard to beat

I think he makes it too, but I want to know how close he is to the line, so I know how close I need to get to 125

To be honest with you, the pictures make him seem a lot bigger than he is. The deer has a 15" spread, one 20" beam and one 17" beam. I have not scored him, but i would be shocked if he went over 115.

Dutch Dog. Last year that deer was alive and well, I can assure you that those pics were taken by me on Oct. 13 2007. After the shot I waited about thirty minutes, trailed him about 50 yds left the woods and went back to the house for the digital camera.

No that deer was shot this year. I know the shooter. That devestating entry wound was from a thunderhead 100.

here is my entry for the the Pope&Chop

got me one opening morning at 730.. he was tailing a doe and chasing her hard. neck was swollen and he stunk.. not impressive but first buck in 3 years.. neck shot laid him down in his track. the doe with him never would leave but never offered a shot.

i was hunting a hardwood bottom that was raining acorns.. i was NOT wearing any cover scent, scent-lok, just had the right wind..

Here's another one I shot this morning. I cheated and took my rifle today. I'm switching back to my bow for the rest of the season. Not much to shooting a deer with a rifle. I donated this guy to hunters for the hungry in Tennessee. It's my 5th deer this season, and don't really need any more meat.

My batteries died on my camera, so I had to use my phone.

This is my best effort at a hero pose using my camera phone.

Here is my entry. First ever buck also. Haven't scored him but I am pretty sure he qualifies. Had about a 17" inside spread. Shot him Friday morning about 6:15. Shot him at about 75 yards and he ran maybe 20.

I was a little late with the pics, but I shot this one with my 45-70 late this afternoon. He was feeding away from me. Would not respond to my bleat call, so I hit the grunt call a couple of times. He stopped dead in his tracks, turned around, and came straight back towards me. Took him at about 30 yards.
