Not talking bout SFHRC, i was just asking a question bout the dinner so I would know whether to bring something put in the old gut other than frozen liquid :?

I was just a bit shocked when I got the flyer that they had me registered and the nightime dinner would be Ice Cream and Fruit! Just doesn't seem to me it goes to good with BEER!!! I'd rather have a good ole piece of Fried fish or BBQ, or Sketti!! That was all.

I am sorry that the SFHRC thread has digressed. But.....First, EAHRC is not having a dinner, it is a social. They stated that very clearly in the confirmation that was sent. Second, if all goes well the club plans on being done around 4:00pm; well before an appropriate diinner time. Third, the club is trying something different. If folks don't like the format, I am sure the club will look at changing it for next year.

Its going to be hot!! I'm all for being done at 4:00 not just for me but most importnatly for the dogs. Pulling off a hunt test this time of year is tuff on the hosting club. Lots of things to consider. I have run there the last two falls and most everybody is looking for a AC as soon as the ribbons are handed out.

It wasn't my intentions to turn this into anything, I was just asking if SFHRC going to have something other than Ice Cream and Fruit at, which someone replied yes, Spaghetti. THEN it got crazy. I tend to enjoy the Socials after the hunt, and they are all called Socials. The confirmation letter doesn't say anything about it being over early, it says Ice Cream and Fruit instead of the regular dinner.

I hope it is over early, if there is no place to hang out other than the car, they can hand me my ribbon after my last run and I'll be outa there.

we'll be thru in time for you to hit the cracker barelle with all the old folks in west memphis bro ifn you want too. Way before dark.

In the past, nobody ate at 4 or 5 oclock when it was that hot. I thought the fruit and ice cream was the bomb. But maybe thats because I told ms glenda to always bring me that frozen watermelon she brings me a long long time ago (thinky it was a 95 degree upland we started that on, btw).

I know whuts gonna be in my cooler... and it taint no sammichs. travis

We got some (in)famous chefs employed to produced some internationally acclaimed dishes to please your discerning palates. Sprig is gonna fix sammiches. Remember the cook on the TK and Mike video? Just beware!
Tripp and all who plan to attend. Talked to Glenda last nite and finished is already getting plenty of interest. Better get your premiums in ASAP to get a finished spot. Like to please everybody but we are only running two flights of finished.

The Main Spouse and the Main Hound will be running seasoned at SF. I will be manning the cooler, handling autograph requests, photo ops, and the general "entourage" chores.

Oh I know I will!!! don't get me wrong, I was just asking a question about the Ice Cream stuff. Other people blew the question up. I've been to a few others and had an awesome time. I was at South MS in Hattiesburg this Spring and at West MS this Spring in Vicksburg. Had a great time and did pretty good in the raffling as well!! Will there be any of that at East AR and Southern Flight???
