his disdain for duck hunting is especailly evident.. part of it stems from a bad fall he took in a south miss swamp.. he was wading in about knee deep water and making his way fine.. the group he was hunting with got to the the location they were going to hunt.. they agreed to let bobby have the end position on the right side.. he was making his way down to a big ol stump that was about 4 feet outta the water...

right as he got to the stump... boom thats when it happend.. bobby meet stump hole.. deep stump hole... bobby never knew it was coming.. he went from knee deep water to his whole being was submersied.. his foot got caught tangled up in some roots or something and he couldn't regain his footing.. he started to panic and thought he was going to drown..

aint been duck hunting since...

In bobby's defense, it beats the shat outta the outdoor page in the commercial appeal, which is a total waste of time. I always like checking out the C-L outdoor page when i can.

I'd like to put Bobby on a good ol delta duck hunt with the El Camino Crew. If Bobby don't act right that chessie-pit cross of Leroy's will bite him on his fat booty.

Melvin is a lot better than Paul Ott's Listen to the Eagle program. Melvin does have a clue about hunting and fishing. I can't say the same for Paul.

Don Miller wrote:Why was there no mention of the winners of the duck calling contests in the outdoor section yet he did mention the "Cutest Camo Kid Contest"? I know Bobby dislikes duck hunting and anything to do with it but you think he would at least make mention of a world sanction contest. Maybe Fata$$ was to busy eating a corn dog at the time when the contest was going on, I don't know. Some of us are sick of reading stories about crappie fishing with Rabbit Rogers and bass fishing the Rez was Bandit crank baits. :x :x :x :x

It is sad that he is all we have when it comes to writing outdoor activities.

I have never cared much for him.
