LDH, your are right she is gonna be upset that I kept it from her this week. My only defense in that is if the shoe were on the other foot and I was out of town and it was Nash I would not want to get that kind of news over the phone.
Hopefully she will understand my intentions but you know what the song lyericks are about good intentions.
Sad part is I am just know able to post it here. I have tried every day this week, to make this post.

You sound like a very decent guy and I know this has been bothering the heck out of you. Be strong, I have faith that she will know how much you didnt' want to hurt her. Be sincere with her and ask forgiveness for not telling her sooner. I'm sure she will understand.

Hate to hear that. I would have done the same thing, especially the wife being out of the country.

I have to go along with LDH on this one.
I know you are doing your best with this, but I have to wonder what happens the next time she has to be away and calls home to check on things. She's got to be wondering what you're not telling her.
My heart goes out to you all in this situation.

Man, I know its tough. I had the identical situation recently and I wasn't entirely truthful. I did what I thought was right for the family though.....
Good luck,
Bill

She took it as well as could be expected. She understood why I kept it from her like I did, and said she would have done the same.

Good.
Despite my advice, If I am at the camp next january enjoying my yearly duckchasin week, I'd rather it not be mentioned unless my presence was required.
