Any of you guys with the Cabela's waders ever had trouble with the velcro straps getting worn out or coming undone under your coat? I had a buddy that had some and his gave him fits. The tape on the seams also came undone a lot. He might just be real rough on his. I didn't know if all of them did that or not.......

Anybody try out the new waders with the "Waterproof" Zipper. I would like to hear it works before investing in a pair.
What about the new Hodgman do it all waders with the shell belt, outside pockets.. inside pockets ..hand warmer pockets ..call pockets ..zippered security pocket.............
Hey DD you could get a pair of these and keep them spare parts for that SBE in all them pockets!

I have had a pair of high back neo Rocky's with the cordura stuff for several years now, no problems, very comfortable. They stand up to salt water, barbed wire and beaver swamps, no big deal. If you are rougher on waders than I am, I would like to meet you and get you some therapy.

I would never have another pair of waders that is NOT ankle fit. I have a couple pairs of "back up" Rocky's that I got off e-bay that I have never used since the first pair has kept on trucking.

I know it is a bit_ _ getting waders off sometimes, so i have never tried any bootfoot waders. The concept is AWESOME, though. If you have to walk through some stuff that sucks your foot down each step and fights you to the death at each attempt to pull your foot up, you know what I am talking about. Sure, you learn "how" to walk, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, if you don't have ankle fit, be like me and get you some short bungee chords and latch them around your ankles. I promise you will be amazed at the difference in walking or I will give you a full refund of what you paid for this little tidbit!

ob duck...I think that it started down at the boot and worked it's way up. That liner is pretty rancid in my pair. BUT I gotta tell you...never a single leak! They don't keep your feet warm but they sure keep you dry. I'll use them for teal season from now on.
