you can be offsides in hockey..

not sure why they have offsides in hockey and soccer..

To make it more challenging.

Hockey's offsides is a little easier to understand than soccer's (I guess)

In Hockey the puck has to cross the line in the "defending team's" third of the rink before an attacker can cross that line.

In soccer the last defender before the goalkeeper is the "offside line" and an attacker cannot be past that defender untill the ball has been passed (actually left the foot of the passer) to him. So therefore the offside line is never in the same spot on the field its just where the last man is at the time of the pass.


Mute point anyway this league is played on kids fields and there is no offsides.

i will b in Clinton tommorowmy son is playing an a tournament there but would like to get a team together Grip have you already comitted to a team? Ryan also futsal starts in March and our team always needs subs :lol:

They pick teams randomly every week in this league.
If your team wins you get 3 points, and every goal your team scores gets each player a point also the players with the highest point totals play on one of the two teams for the championship.

I've been wanting to play some futsal so yeah let me know.

Who is that? :wink:
