Dead guy is gettin drankt up right now as a matter of fact. (note to those that read this in the morning it is 7:00 in the pm right now feb 15)
The Brookshir round the corner has that "make your own sixer" deal with about 50-75 brews to choose from. Can't beat it with a hickory stick.
John Courage!!
Finally remembered that name as I typed.
A Favorite, sometimes I get like three in the mixed six pack. One dead guy an abita & maybe a St. Pauli's Girl or hiefwiesen (sp?)
I need some crawfish!!!!

I like the Magnolia Micro brews, Amber Grolsch, Dos Equis Amber, to name a few
I believe it was Fat Tire when I was out in Colorado...I really liked and some of the Sweet Water Brews out of GA are good
what is best place in around Jaxn as far as selection...restaurant and store?

It is amazing how many rednecks look at you when your drinkin a Sam Adams and tell you to get a real beer, and then turn up a Bud Light. Sierra Nevada is some good stuff too.

That reminds me of one of my favorite quotes....
"People who drink light "beer" don't like the taste of beer; they just like to pee a lot." -- Capital Brewery, Middleton, WI

That Southern Pecan beer is the shizzle. Had my first one, two , three or four this past weekend in O town. Good stuff.
Shiner Bock is a fine tasting beer as well.
One that has not been mentioned, that I am quite partial to, is Newcastle, an English brew. Same smoothness as the Southern Pecan.
I need a beer.

I had some Sam Adams ctoberfest once at the bar. It was good stuff. That was back in the old days before they started bustin the stark bars and we were about 16 gettin in as 21. Being older now I am glad they are gettin those little kids gettin back out on the roads drunk, luckily we had a place to stay up there. Unfortunately I aint hit the bars since they started crackin down but i will pick back up when Sep 26 rolls around.

The Sam Adams commercial says it best. "Don't be afraid of flavor my man!!"
