I saw him play high school ball, if it weren't for a couple of good receivers then wouldn't be the big name that he thinks he is. He came to U of A with a big head and when he didn't start he got his mom to talk to the athletic director. We need a good QB up here, God knows the one we have couldn't pass the potatoes.....

We got a juco from Cali named Josh Riddell. Threw for over 30 td's last year. Rated a 4 star. Just hope he's not glass. Mustain can't play SEC ball because he can't get his mom's teat out of his mouth long enough.

tebow's a stud.. hell if he can't make it as a q.b. he could play several other positions.. such as rb, tight end, h back, hell he'd even make a good lb or de..

Mustain played pretty well for a frosh this season. Those expecting more were expecting too much, IMO. Such is why I said that the Hogs would need to use Casey Dick more at starting QB when they hit the tougher games on their schedule toward the end of the season. With Mustain behind center, the Hogs were too one dimensional, with only the running game really working. Casey, even with his limitations, gave the Hogs a more balanced attack. But, that does not mean that Mustain was a bust ---not at all. He was just a freshman and Arkansas had a more experienced QB they could go to, and they did.
Mustain will probably do very well at the right school in the right offense.
Yes, in retrospect, his mother probably should have kept her mouth shut. But, there was no doubt that the young man was lied to by Nutt with respect to the type of offense they were going to run. And it is not unusual for a parent or guardian to speak on behalf of their son when he is only 18 years old. I doubt that his mother knew or intended that the meeting she attended (with parents of other players as well) with Broyles would become public knowledge. Broyles was stupid to accept the meeting in the first place, and even more dumb to let the details of the meeting become public knowledge. All of which is now water under the bridge. Life goes on.
I doubt that Mustain's mother would pose any problems for any coach at a normal school. And it is very likely that Mitch would fit right in wherever he goes to play. He did not suddenly go from being the top rated QB recruit in the country and a part-time starter in the SEC his freshman year with a 6-0 record, to a "bust" or has-been. He is still the same QB with the same skills. And IMO, some lucky school is going to be the beneficiary of the mismanagement of this situation by Arkansas' dysfunctional coaching staff.
