Let's see. I made this post for one reason, to see what you would have to say. Gonna rip me a new one huh, kinda of a lame attempt. Boy??? Boy my ass, I'm a soon to be 23 year old man.
How many ducks you killed in the past 5 yrs with yo Winchester shells and yo Benelli gun??? I would be willing to bet any amount of money that your total is no where close to mine, with the use of an $200 870 mag and my cheap shells. I'll even let you add your wife's totals for those 5 yrs, and you still won't top me. Unlike a lot of people, I don't have to make those 45 yd shots, cuz I know how to work ducks. If they don't come in the dekes, I don't shoot. I can make the 45 yd shots easy, but I don't need the double priced higher velocity steelshot shells to do it. I don't have to have the $90 dozen G&H decoys to bring ducks in, my $20 flambeau do just fine.
You say I'm cheap about everything.......well I'm riding in a 2002 Z-71, my dad is also. We can afford anything when it comes to hunting or whatever, but we chose not to buy the overpriced chit cuz we don't NEED it!!!!!!!!!
Anytime I post something on this board you are biting at the chance to get me, and you try to bust my chops on it, and what the hell for I do not know. Buddy buddy in person, butthole on the board, thanx Randy. And I really don't care if you think you were being sarcastic in your post, really could care less, then you say that I take everything so personal and serious, wonder why?

I've shot Kents for the past several years. I've not had a problem with any. Buy yourself a $9.00 rubber army surplus bag out of brigade quartermasters, that'll keep 'em dry. I'll be buying another case this year. I too used to shoot Winchester, I had no problems w/ them either. I figured why pay more?
GH22......that's what you get for stealing my armadillo picture......I'm still waiting for you to make his feet kick.
That's what I like about you.......you're like that Jack Russell Terrier I once saw, that stared-down a 2000lb Brahma bull......then when the bull lowered his head an snorted, it pissed the Jack Russell off so much, he jumped-up and grabbed the bull by that piece o' skin between his nostrils and hung-on for DEAR LIFE............WAAAAY past the 8-second bell!
You got spunk, boy....I mean, MAN! 'Hope you and your Dad kill a sack fulla birds this weekend.

Shells
I have had some trouble outta drylocks and Kents the problem I had was them dang walmart ammo cans they seal up pretty good but then they cause the shells to sweat I had a hole can of drylocks go spoooofff I put a couple of the silca gel pack that come with clorine bucket from the pool in my ammo cans keeps em rust free and dry. Goosebruce also trys to run dirt clods thru his guns heh. Federal shells stink man.....they need to stick to rifle bullets I patterned some federals last year eeeuuu same with estate lots of holes The Kents did best for me with drylocks second but heck you can buy the drlocks for 100 a case at macks witha rebate..
I shot Kent's last year to try them, shot a case of them some slightly wet and never had a misfire that I can think of. I know Winchersers work well, but I was very happy with what I had lastyear and will continue to shoot them until trouble arises. Oh yeah and Duckmen they kill the crap out of hens!!!!

I dunno, Stano.......before I bought a 3" gun, A 2-3/4" Federal 1oz #2's was about the hardest hittin' thing, out there.......but that was back in '92, before all this hi-vel stuff came-out.
I broke a honker down with one Federal Classic 3" BB, last year. 'Not the kinda shot I normally take, but it was the only one I 'GOT', that day.....'bout 50 yds straight-up. He was dead when he hit the water.
Dirt clods........hehehe
Hey, if Travis says Federals is the gig.....'I'd have to SEE him shoot some before I bought any......never know when he's tryin' to pump you fulla SUNSHINE, ya know.

I hate to say this, but: GH22 is right about the nail polish. I learned that trick years ago from an old guide in the days of lead. It will keep the primer hot if the shell gets submerged. Works for lead or steel. Won't keep the steel from rusting, but will make the keep the shell going "bang."
I used to use pink nail polish, but Anat and Duckmen kept stealing it. So now I just use clear.

So many ducks, so little time....

Don't laugh, man........last year, my wife/hunting partner got tired o' dealin' with my 'whiney-fits', out duck hunting...........waited 'til I fell asleep (bare-footed) in the easy chair after a tough hunt, and painted my toenails BRIGHT RED.......yup, all 10 of'em!!
Man, I woke-up and thought I was dreaming I'd turned into a ugly woman with hairy laigs and humongous 'feets'.
To get even, I threatened to wear it 'til the end of duck season......in public!..........'took me over an hour to get that stuff off.

Gotta call bullshiiit on dat story.... Painted all 10 toes red? Whuts the chances of yur clumbsy butt still having all 10 toes God gave ya? I'm guessing 8, maybe 9 cause yo wife smartened you up a ton when you met and maybe she got to you fore you'n could do any mo damage!
I'm guessing yo wife probably don't care for fancy nail polish too much during duck season either.
Federalalies are the real deal. fast bb's, kill em dead, real dead. For the gooseys bbb's git the nod. For snows, CCI stingers, 42 grain hollowpoint... Ok it aint a federal load, but it kills the crap outta snow geese! travis

Actually.....it IS the truth!
I woke-up to her snickerin'.....standin' over me with that little brush in one hand and the bottle of polish in the other.
You're right.....she doesn't 'do' nail polish, normally......especially not during the season.......but when she wants to make a point, she's 'bout as subtile as a train wreck.
Smartened me up?.......yeah, you nailed that one, too!
