Yeah, there's more to that story. There was a homosexual banker named Farmer something or nuther that Doug had pictures of. Doug used that to boroow more than than he could repay. the bank used their enfluence and money to get him out of the drug charges to protect the loans. Banker lost his job due to the loans and his reputation. Delta Arms eventually failed and the bank lost money.
Mauldin eventually got back in the duck business putting together the purchase of Ms River Island and hunting clubs to big dogs. I think he was successful and may have retained a membership in them as part of his deal. You're right Powe Monkey, Sassy was the dawgs balls. Another trivia fact. Mauldin was a cheerleader at State.

The few times I have been around them they seemed like real nice folks. I dont know much about turkey hunting but those boys sure sound good to me. Sassy has always been real cordial to my wife and even offered her home for my daughters birthday.
Never been around Doug.

Bankers are stupid. I know only two things about money.
1) More is better than less,
2) Now is better than later.

I think most of yall have it nailed down. they are from Clarksdale, they did go to Lee, they have very nice looking sister and yall got the parents names right also. If i am not mistaken, Doug bought the old Camp Lakeside just outside of Charleston. they were(are) members of Oxberry Hunting club also. The boys (gay or not, I assure you, I have no idea nor do i care) have been blessed with some great hunting places over the years. Doug is very good friends with a local attorney and their partnership and friendship over the years has afforded them opportunites many of us could only dream of. I have to say that I never would have dreamed they would have ended up like this.

I remember these guys from MSU everyone made fun of them. They can do some good turkey calling and they seem to be enjoying life and doing good.

The photos of them on the website show them with some pretty hot chicks at the Playboy Mansion. Looks like those boys are doing pretty well to me.
Speaking of Sassy, she used to get up early in the morning and fix breakfast for her husband and his hunting buddies, then take care of the chillen, and then on to work to teach at school. She said that she actually enjoyed getting up and fixing breakfast for her husband and his hunting buddies during the season. Now THAT is some kind of woman.

I've been around these 2 a good bit, but widowmaker ought to be able to give you the full story on them since he and them were BFF at state. He keeps up with their career religiously!

More power to 'em, but can they sing, or just call up turkeys and chicks??? Noticed on their biography page that they don't claim to be from MS, or mention anything about their MS roots. I'd be sorta proud to mention that, myself. Go figure..................
