Nope, i have stayed away from the rez ever since neil and crew "titanic-ed" that boat on the way out. Neil had to get a wetsuit and dive for their guns and gear.

wandy - don't go getting your feathers ruffled. Assuming that you are 14 you probably haven't had someone pirate your favorite duck hole because some lurker found the details out on the internet. Although we all have a good time on this board, people get protective of spots they scouted and found and they don't want to reveal them. If someone shot you some details on line, some butt lick would beat you to the spot because they scraped it off of the board. It's a big problem ... "internet scouters".

It's a hard lesson in unwritten forum rules and most of the folks posting learned the ropes the same way. With that being said:

1. Do you have a duck boat?
2. How far can you travel with your old man?
3. What days can he hunt with you?
4. How many decoys do you have?
5. Do you both have waders?

I seriously doubt that anyone on this site broke out topo maps, etc when they were 14 to find a spot. We all learned from someone else so lay off fellas The kid is obviously interested in getting involved so help him out via PM's if you are interested. Otherwise - we'll just nickname you Tom Matthews....

you and your dad get to shelby,ms or e mail me . i might go to hell but it wont be because i didnt offer yall a place to hunt. my dad never took me and it sucked but i will take you if yall are willing to come down here in a week or so. i was gona say your dad sucked for not taking you but i can understand what he's got going on and i know it is hard for him to carry you. laugh if you want at the kid but he is trying and i feel his pain!!!

I tell you what. If you and your dad are willing to travel I will let you hunt with me. I have my on hole and I hunt it once or twice a week. Not back to back. So if you want to hunt pm me. I have a 13 year old son I could not imagine someone not helping him out. I think it takes lots of guts to get on here and ask questions.
