Welldoggie, you say that to be funny but I was on the refuge earlier today reading about how hunters from ND shoot them out of trucks off the road.

Hold up a minute meeka. the mallard machine is as effective as its user u have to know how to run the thing. The only thing i see wrong with it is that it is a lil bulky. but we didnt flare any ducks with it. its just like any other tool in duck hunting u have to know when,where ,and how to us it.

someone mentioned earlier in this post about a twirly deer, well i sh*t you not "mojo-deer" is here. It's made by the folks at MOJO-MALLARD. They also have geese, doves, crows, and now deer. What next Pheasants????? Turkeys????? Largemouth Bass?????? When will it end.

I have to say I like the mallard machine when hunting from a boat cause I don't have to tote it. man on a still day it works great they sell a orange extension cord winder at home depo it will roll up a ton of wire fast leave the end out on the spool with a electrical plug and wire you a big foot with allagator clips works great we use a boat anchor with a retractible dog leash for anchor rope set it up in 2 min tops of course it does run off a battery :::: [img]images/smiles/icon_redface.gif[/img]hmy::::

I don't know if I can logicaly defend my position, but I don't think I would mind trying one of the mojodoves. My gues is it would work about like a regular decoy on a light line, which is pretty deadly. IMO
