I have a gps it is a garmin and it will put you within 16-20 feet of your targeted area. I have used it on foggy days and works well if you have a driver and a navigator.

GPS ??

I use a Garmin 12. the screen lights to two intensities. I keep a compass tied to it just for reference. Works great with maptech software to go to those nice lookin spots for the first time in the dark. However sometimes a straight line approach gets pretty interesting. GPS with WASP is extremely accurate although pricey. Regular GPS will get you pretty close though. I've got a boat mounted one that is a life savor and a hand held that is okay. GPS works really good on open water. The WASP system takes the error out of it. The govt. orignally made GPS w/ an error differential so our enemies couldn't use it against us. I've been using them for probably 6 years now and love em. Beats the heck out of a compas.

Cook,

Garmins are prob. the best. They have the best software and support. I have a Magellan GPS that I really don't like. I have to wait about 3 - 4 minutes to get a signal, and it gets frustrating.
