Yeah and Arkansas is so close to all the SEC schools. That is also why it will not be in Memphis. Hoover is the best geographically. I would love for it to be in memphis. It just won't happen

We can discuss this all we want and argue very good substantial points and reasons for moving it anywhere else other than Hoover, but it will never happen. The SEC is banking on it being a Bummer Invitational every year, hoping that Bama and 'burn face each over so they can put 18K+ in the stands at least once. Auburn's been screwing up the SEC's plans as of late though.

The area behind the left field fence is going to be filled in and 15 row of seat added to the batters eye and the picnic area will double. The boxes will be added all the way sown to the foul poles with more chairback mezzinine seating under them

LSU doesn't have the pitching or hitting, just give them time (a very short amount of it) and they will be there tool

Dirks pitched 7-2/3s inning with only 2 runs scored. Pretty decent picthing for a Junior from MS.

Absolutley, when Dirks is on he is one of the best pitchers in the SEC, but for some reason the last two years he has been inconsistent. His freshman year was unbelievable I thought. If he could stay hot, LSU could certainly ride his arm through the post season. However as rabid an LSU fan as I am and as much as I love LSU baseball, I just feel it's reality that more than likely this run will be short lived. However nothing would make me more happy than to see them but something together this postseason. (well maybe a quick limit of trout, reds and snapper on Sat, Sun, Mon would make me happier)

Another reason I dont think they should move it is it is in the same town/suburb as the SEC office. I go to hoover every year and I think it is probably the best place for it but thats just mu opinion
