Fellas, there is still plenty of baseball left ---enough time for a turn around ---good or bad. No need to get too cocky or too down at this point. The teams are so bunched up right now in the standings, that one really good weekend could propel you to the top, and a really bad weekend could sink you to the bottom.

As a Reb fan, I have learned to take the baseball season one weekend series at a time, trying not to look too far ahead. Baseball can be a funny game sometimes ---maintaining momentum is a tricky thing. This is especially so for players who are mostly under 21 years old.

Having said that, it sure felt good sweeping the Tigahs this weekend. But, after a day or two of savoring the wins, the Rebs will need to be ready for UT this weekend -----the Vols, who have a lot of talent, are backed into a corner and could be a dangerous team just waiting to turn things around. I just hope it doesn't happen this weekend at our expense.

Who wanted to get rid of Bianco? All we ever said was that the Rebs sucked. At the time, they did!!

im with most of ya on this one, i would much much rather be on a struggling team at the begining of the year and peak at the right time, then be on a team that picked way too early and struggle goin down the homestead.....

Thats the dumbest website i have ever been to, I saw it a few weeks ago and just goes to show how dumb some folks really are. The man built the MSU baseball program and is a great asset to MSU Baseball

I just wanted to get some schit stirred and I did. Po Monk I know there is a lot of baseball to be played. In fact I think there are 4 series left to be played which a lot can happen with a little less than half of the 30 reg season sec games.

I accomplished my goal though and got the "shiznit" stirred up.

MSU fans need to realize the reason State and LSU dominated baseball for years was that the other SEC schools were not putting forth the effort to have a great baseball program as they are now. MSU's program has not gone down, other schools have caught up with State and LSU thru building nice facilities and hiring quality coaches. Ole Miss has caught up with them by hiring a great coach and spending the money to build top quality facilities, unlike they did 20 years ago. They now can recruit with State for the top players in the nation.

I am an Ole Miss fan and graduate but I will be the first to tell anyone that not only did Coach Polk make baseball what it is at State today but he also made baseball what it is today in all of the South for all universities like Ole Miss.
