9, one of the better seasons in the last 5 years. Only zeroed once, and I knew ahead of time it was gonna be bad, but I promised guys I would take them and told them it would be slow, but they wanted to go anyway. Had at least one great hunt every weekend and snuck in a few good ones in the week.

Im uh have to go with about a 8. Havent gotten to go as much as id liked to but when we did we killed ducks. Hell we killed 150 in one weekend, and for all you internet game wardens that was between twelve people.

10.........it's all a matter of perspective. We got 4-6 pairs of mallards to work (the way they are suppose to), this season.................that rates a '10' in my book (compared with the last 3 seasons). We also killed 3 times as many ducks this year, as last year (which is a small number, but SOME improvement, none-the-less. I'll take the hand that was dealt and be thankful I was able to go......even though I grumbled about this and that on a regular basis.
If 'Sprig' hadn't had to miss the last month of the season due to eye ulcers and 2 laser surgeries, we would've felt more like a 'team', but maybe she'll get to enjoy the last weekend with us. Just isn't the same without her.
I'm looking forward to the next few days and hope I get to go during the week.....otherwise, I'll start getting ready for next season, starting January 30th.

7 - This was my 4th year hunting ducks...I would rate it a 7. Not necessarly because of the number of ducks that I killed, but on all the hunts I went I never got skunked and I killed my first limit of ducks.. Still looking for them elusive greenheads here in central MS though..
