I'm disappointed in you RR. I figured you for a wing shooting purest!

But at least you got half (Alberta) of it right, huh?

If I had the time and money, Start in Canada and hunt ducks all the way to Mexico. I think it would be interesting to see all the different ways/type of geography/conditions people hunt down our flyway.

Cotten, that is the thing, RR has already pursued all the winged creatures!!

As for the place I'd like to hunt, I want to hunt a grizzly and sheep in Alaska. I also want to try for a turkey grand slam, but I plan on doing that next year or the next.

As for places I have hunted.....
Turkeys in Florida (haven't killed one yet),
Duck, deer, and turkey in Arkansas (no turkey there yet),
Turkeys in Missouri (heard lots of birds, but no luck, it rained every day),
Canada geese in Alberta, Canada (great hunt)
Kudu, Oryx(2), Impala, Warthog, Springbuck, Hartebeest in Namibia, Africa. So far, this has been the best hunt!! I don't know how I'll be able to top it!!
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

I would go bowhunting in Iowa or Illinois for whitetails or Argentina for 1 day of dove hunting and a week of chasing the ladies.

I believe I would like to bow-hunt in Kansas for whitetails. SE Kansas where there are some woods and some giant deer (160 plus). Either that or in Arizona or New Mexico for record-book elk with a bow. I'm talking something in the 370 to 380 class. Killing a duck to me is just that...killing a duck...whether it be in Canada or Mississippi...I can hunt ducks here...I can't hunt elk, and my odds are better in SE Kansas at a big deer and everyone seems to be going to Pike Co Illinois after them. Don't get me wrong I'd like to hunt ducks all down the flyway, but I would rather hunt big deer or elk. Maybe one of these days I'll get to do both.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
