Hot off the press!!!! Head , Pettway, Holliman, Maloney, Fowler and Cupps state publicly that if the Rebs do not win the national title this year, they will definately be back next season with the Rebs to finish what they started and fulfill their destiny.

What are the odds that half of the recruits are back home in 5 years and never see a pro game!! Seen too many prospects go in the second, third, fourth round etc and are never more than Jackson Senators destined to starve!!!Seen some great prospects struggle through the minors and get frustrated that they were not called up to the big dance!!! Not saying Head and Pettway won't make it but the odds are not exactly in their favor!!! That is why baseball is like no other draft!! Pick em and send em to the minors, if they don't work out oh well not much of a lose if they weren't a first rounder!!!

Two quickest ways to make it to the show.......dominating pitcher or catch an injury to a guy on the roster.

As messed up as that Indians organization is look for Head to make it within 3 yrs. Pettway has a great catch with the Blue Jays as a DH.

I think you are pushing it a little. I firmly believe he will make the dance, but unless something crazy happens (injury wise) I believe it will be around 4-5. Seth Smith on the other hand, I firmly expect to see up there in the next 3 years. This is my opinion, coming from playing with both, knowing the type of guys/competiters they are. Mark my word Jeff, and we will check it in a couple years!
