Ford or Chevy?

If you are going to spend 7000 you can get a used 4X4. Why buy a 2 wheel drive when you can buy a 4 wheel drive? You may not need it but, IF YOU EVER DO, YOU HAVE IT. Just my opinion.

You can get a good used 95-97 extended cab 4x4 ford f150 for around 6-7000. I would go with a ford if you are looking for one from around that time frame, some of the chevys tended to have transmission trouble. I tend to agree with greenheadmachine, you may not need 4x4, but it sure is nice to have it if you do need it. Something as simple as parking in wet grass can turn into a 4x4 situation.
