Now that is some funny stuff there crow... Summed it up pretty good too, only left out the hen killing issue and sumpin' 'bout a can a viennas!!!

History buff Crow? I'm impressed. Do you blame Ducks Unlimited for this season, because I do. All the money that hunters in the south dump into DU, and yet very little of the money is spent on improving our hunting conditions down here. Instead, they invest in Duck projects North of here and consequently (or intentionally) keep all the ducks from having to travel south for the winter. I'm not whining, but rather just wonder if anyone else shares the same disposition as I do? I personally have stopped supporting DU.

I am concerned what DU does with our money, but hell, I love the fellowship and the duck girls at the banquets! As long as I get to "win" a few items and have a few "sodas", I'll support DU.

This season just was just poor for a multitude of reasons. Next year will be better.......I've got to believe that. Good luck on the last few weeks boys!

Crow, that last post was the best post i have read on this board. The DU bit was one I have been preaching for years and your philosophy on the bad season is damn close to being right.

Well, what ya'll have been witness to was the overflow of a day packed with a bunch of children who wouldn't behave at school and a pack of parents who didn't think they should be disciplined. I swear, I need a butt prosthesis after yesterday, 'cause somebody was chewing mine off all day long!

I did leave out the robo issue, but I tried to work that one into the DU discussion. Now, I have heard that the Al Quiada terrorist outfit has a sattelite training camp in South Carolina and is sending operatives out to MS as out-of-state hunters! I swear it's the truth! I'm real worried about that 'cause when I was back home at Christmas, I saw a bunch of folks in the woods wearing masks!

Now, GC, you got a deal on the free viennie sausage lunch. If you can get the Judge to throw in a potted meat sandwich on white bread, I'll bring the belly washers!

On a serious note, I'm coming home to Yazoo next Thursday to hunt for 4 days. I'm gonna hunt with Wingman one day, my brother-in-law one or two days, and I'd love to hook up with some of you guys in the middle and south delta for a hunt somewhere. I don't have any places, but I ain't too proud to hunt with you on public ground. Any body looking for someone to hunt with next weekend?

Crow, you may have to send the Judge back to the store to restock the shack for vienna's before you collect on the prize. With no ducks around, what else is there to do buy eat your groceries and fiddle in the fire...last I heard, he shootin stuff with his daisy red rider to pass the time, so the viennas a long gone.
