camphouse ready in the dry to include basic wiring (unfinished), plumbing stub, exterior walls studded and sheetrocked (unfinished) I'm gonna say it'll run about $32-35/ft, not including exterior walks, sinks, ac, etc.

Huerta in Cleveland is $12.50/ ft^2 give or take a lil bit depending on height. That's building, insulation, concrete!, erection, forming up slab, two basic doors, walls, Mexicans, the whole she-bang, lock the door and here's your key job.

Yes, buildings (iron, tin) are pretty cheap. Labor is not. And the concrete work costs. Something to be said for using one man to do it all.

4-6 weeks to order building

No kidding, 1 week is normal erection time. For Huerta, that is.

Huerta Construction

Postby msumallardman » Fri Mar 18, 2005 9:50 am

I got a quote from Huerta on a 40 x 60 x 12 with a walk-thru door, two roll up doors in the back, three windows and insulation for $23,000 installed. I already have a concrete slab that we can put the building on. Since you know the Huerta's, what do you think of this price Caller1???

Do you think I would do better to try and find someone closer to us out of Greenville?

We will still have to rough out the interior & plumbing but I know a "jake leg" carpenter that can do that for us for cheap.

msumallard , There's no reason any erector should charge you more than 2 bucks a square foot to erect that bldg . Assuming that they are not then the bldg is costing you 7.59 a square foot deliverd . If you want to do better on the price and get a bldg from a reputable company that has been manufacturing bldgs since the mid 50's shoot me a pm.
